Leila's temperature has been up and down all week as she has had a virus, poor thing. She hit 39 on the first day and had a prickly rash in her body. She was so tired and cuddly that we were really worried. The doc reassured us and so prescribed Calpol and cuddles. A few days later and the rash had totally cleared up and she was back to her walkie talkie self, but despite this the fever has continued to come and go all week. At our third doc appointment of the week teething was mentioned and that evening the wails and biting seemed to confirm it.
Even though she has been really quite poorly Leila has still wanted to go out. We know whst she wants because she goes and bangs on the door of the bathroom where we keep our shoes and then goes and tugs at the buggy. It seems like we have a little doggy on our hands! She totally understands the word "shoes" and will go and get the shoes out then sit down ready to get them on. She's trying to say "sh sh" which is very cute too.
