Amazing progress from Leila. Today she was discharged from the ICU and we were allowed to come home. She's still got to have doctor appointments over the next week, but at least she's stable enough to be with us! We're both completely exhausted from an emotional few days, and are looking forward to spending the next week together. This photo was taken last night when we got our first cuddle as a family - the ICU have a 'mums only' rule in the ward, so I had to watch through the window until last night when she was allowed out to feed for the first time. Thank you, everyone, for your amazing words of support and encouragement. We may not have replied, but rest assured that reading them has really helped us through a tough time.
