I just wanted to add a note that we have now discovered the one disadvantage of having a Shuttle PC...the aluminium frame is liable to be "live"!!!
Scotty now has to wear my rubber soled house slippers when he is working there as the computer is live, as are the mircophones when they are plugged in! We will have to earth it all via the taps in the kicthen (about 15 meters away and past the front door...we'll work it out).
Also - we've just finished our second and final can of Pocari Sweat, so we're off to buy some more from the mini supermarket by the mall or the organic supermarket we found today on our street.

That brings a whole new meaning to Eddy and Alice LIVE from Cairo. The important questions is, do Scott's slippers curl up at the toes, Aladdin style?
Shuttle's are amazing - you should get the carry case so that you can take the little beast on the plane with you whenever you come back home!
Oh and I I'm not sure what the power is like out there but if it's slightly dodgy then get a UPS to make things run smoothly and stop the risk of things blowing up / stopping abruptly if there's a power spike!
had to look up Pocari Sweat ... seems it's a cross between Red Bull and Dioralyte. Must sell well in gippie tummy land.
WOATYP #1 Careful,though, a six-pack of Pocari plus a Shuttle Shock and you'll end up in a fast-forward gibbering Benny Hill out-take.
