Christmas feeling

We started to really get that Christmas feeling today!
It is the last day of term and so we finished early at 2pm - nice :) We then went to the pub for the obligatory end-of-term drink (and well deserved it was too!) but didn't stay long as we have an early flight tomorrow and needed to do some final bits of shopping.
So it was about 4.30pm when we got to the Grand Mall and started shopping, but it was odd as a number of shops were closed or starting to close. Then we remembered that Islamic New Year is tonight and that was the reason - so we started moving very quickly between shops to get the last few things before they closed!!
I needed to get to Road 9 to browse for some more things, so then went there, and again it felt Christmas-y with the slight chill in the air (only relative I know!) and the desire to buy lots of presents for people.
We checked-in online this morning, we're pretty much packed now and our luggage is looking within the allowance, so we're all set!!!
